We are located at 350 ~ 352 Watertown Street (Route 16) in Newton, Massachusetts, about five miles west of Boston. We are about a mile from exit 17 on the Mass Pike.

Our finely stocked and expertly staffed store is dedicated solely to Trout, Salmon  and  Steelhead Fly Fishing. Mayfly & Co. is a destination fly shop offering flies, rods, reels, clothing, boots and waders, lines, leaders and tippets. We also carry several lines of high quality bags and luggage to get you and your valued equipment into fish country and back out again.

  We are open Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.

We don't try to be all things to all anglers. Our "fly fishing department" is the whole store.  Our selective and innovative inventory includes many products available nowhere else in Eastern Massachusetts.

Maine made HMH Vises have been the industry standard since 1975. Mayfly & Co. is also proud to offer the complete line of Renzetti vises and tools. All accessories offered by HMH or Renzetti for their line of vises may be special ordered through the shop.

  Mayfly & Co. also stocks fly treatments, cement, dubbing waxes and dressings by Loon Outdoors, Griff's and Wapsi. Tools from Griffin, Renzetti and Terra offer the tyer quality choices in several price points. 

  Perhaps you're considering that first bamboo rod project or restoring an heirloom. Mayfly & Co. is a registered dealer for Struble, Mfg. offering superior reel seats and components. We also carry Snake Brand snake guides, agate or agatine stripping guides and rod wrapping silks from YLI. Special orders are welcomed.
